Samsung T349 - Phonebook up to 1000 Contacts

The Samsung T349 candybar-style messaging phone features a 20-key partial QWERTY keyboard that's combined with the latest in predictive text entry technology. The Samsung T349 provides one-touch access to your favorite messaging function with the messaging shortcut key, and the user interface offers a new, simplified circle menu style that provides friendly graphics and succinct menu description text.

The Samsung T349 sports a brightly colorful LCD screen (176 x 220 pixels, 262K color depth) that sits above a four-way navigation pad that's surrounded by send/end and two soft navigation keys and complemented with a dedicated messaging key. This Samsung mobile phone has an internal 50 MB memory, which can be expanded via optional MicroSD/MicroSDHC (high capacity) memory cards (up to 4 GB in size). The phonebook can store up to 1000 contacts, with each entry able to store multiple phone numbers and offering support for caller groups as well as photo/ringer ID.

Handsfree communication is easy thanks to the integrated speakerphone. The Samsung T349 also provides Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and file transfer. With the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking - surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server (additional charges or subscription applicable).

You'll be able to stay in close contact with friends and family via both text (SMS) and picture (MMS) messaging, and this mobile phone provides access to popular instant messaging services (including AIM, Yahoo!, and Windows Live) for fast, on-the-go conversations. This handset also includes support for accessing personal email from POP3 and IMAP4 accounts.

The Samsung T349 weighs 3.2 ounces and measures 4.49 x 1.97 x 0.53 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 7 hours of talk time, and up to 300 hours (12.5 days) of standby time. It runs on the 850/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies.
